Course Objectives: To teach the foundational technical steps required to prepare custom character models for seamless import and flawless animation playback inside a game engine.

Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to successfully script-rig a character mesh, paint clean vertex skin weights to avoid mesh tearing, and import an active root-motion asset into an engine.

Tools & Materials: Autodesk Maya or Blender, Unity 6 (for FBX import and asset structural checking), and a custom static unrigged character mesh.
