Topics Covered: Eye-darts and blinks, asymmetry in expressions, visemes and phonemes (mouth shapes), subtext, emotional transitions, and beat breakdowns.

Course Objectives: To teach students how to synchronize facial expressions and mouth movements to an audio track to convey a deep, internal character thought process.

Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to deliver a finished, 10-second multi-layered acting performance showcasing a character transitioning from one clear emotion to another during a line of dialogue.

Tools & Materials: Autodesk Maya or Blender, Audacity (or any basic audio tool), and an advanced character rig featuring a comprehensive facial GUI setup.
