Topics Covered: Variables, loops, conditional statements, methods, Unity API architecture, transforming vectors, reading player hardware input, and custom camera tracking scripts.
Course Objectives: To demystify coding for artists, teaching them how to write structured scripts that allow standard player inputs to move objects inside a 3D grid.
Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to write a functional C# script from scratch that reads keyboard/controller inputs to move a character asset and configure a functional 360-degree follow camera.
Tools & Materials: Unity 6, Visual Studio or VS Code, and standard gray-box level layouts.
