Topics Covered: Attack anticipation frames, execution windows, follow-through recovery, hit stop/hit freeze, directional hit reactions, and visual telegraphing.
Course Objectives: To teach students how to design combat frames that look powerful, feel immediate to a player, and maintain physical balance from a 360-degree perspective
Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to animate a 3-hit melee combo sequence (light attack, heavy attack, recovery) alongside corresponding hit-reaction and block animations.
Tools & Materials: Autodesk Maya or Blender, Cascadeur (for AI-assisted physics checking), and a combat weapon-ready character rig.
