Visual Development & World Building
Once the structure is sound, this level shifts toward the psychological impact of a scene, focusing on the "Blue Sky" phase of film and game production. You will learn to use color theory and atmospheric lighting as emotional tools, shifting a viewer’s mood from comfort to dread just by changing the temperature of the light or the density of the fog. This stage is about defining the unique aesthetic "soul" of a project through expressive painting, deep narrative research, and the creation of "Hero Props" that tell a story on their own.
Focus: The "Mood of the World." Here, students transition into the "Blue Sky" phase of film and games, focusing on color, atmosphere, and narrative.
