Topics Covered: Quadruped locomotion, primary and secondary creature anatomy (tails, wings), choreography staging, continuous physical contact, and framing multi-character action.

Course Objectives: To train students to animate complex creatures and synchronize the timing of two or more distinct rigs interacting directly with one another.

Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to animate a quadruped run cycle and design a narrative sequence featuring a human character interacting directly with a creature.

Tools & Materials: Autodesk Maya or Blender, animal anatomy video references, a quadruped rig (wolf or horse), and a human character rig.
