ARCHITECTURAL 3D MODELING (3D Max/Revit)
• Introduction: Building complex, highly accurate three-dimensional digital interior architecture models from base 2D vector plans.
Instructor Profile
Prerequisites
Description
• Topics Covered: 3D polygonal polygon modeling; BIM architectural objects (walls, slabs, stairs); parametric custom modifications; asset linking workflows.
• Course Objectives: Construct clean, error-free 3D spatial models containing precise wall thicknesses, window cutouts, and accurate ceiling drops.
• Learning Outcomes: Build a structurally accurate 3D interior shell, import and position furniture components, and control camera viewports cleanly.
• Tools & Materials: Computer workstation; Autodesk 3ds Max / Autodesk Revit; external storage drive.
Course Rules
• Course Rules: The Watertight Mesh Rule: 3D models must feature perfectly closed, watertight polygon geometry. Models with overlapping walls, non-aligned ceilings, or leaking vertice seams will be rejected before rendering phases.
